E-mail Print PDF

On Sunday, February 28th, approximately 15 seminarians from Conception traveled to Denton, NE to visit Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary, one of the two international seminaries of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. The seminarians left Conception at 6:30 am in order to arrive in time for a Solemn High Mass with the seminarians of the Fraternity.

After Mass, the CSC seminarians were treated to brunch with the Fraternity seminarians and a tour of the seminary's facilities. Currently the seminary uses a temporary chapel which it has used since its opening in 2000. On March 3, 2010, the new chapel will be dedicated in the Extraordinary Form and will mark the completion of the $14 million seminary. After the tour there was a brief Q & A session before the CSC seminarians headed back to Conception.
